Misty Jurrens B.S., A.A., A.A.S., R.EEG/EP.T, R.NCS.T, CLTM
Neurodiagnostic Educator
I have been in the field of Neurodiagnostics since 2001 and with Neurotech since 2019. I graduated from a 2-year Associates of Applied Science in Clinical Neurophysiology, and then continued my education and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. I have my ABRET and AAET Board Registries in EEG, EP, CLTM, and NCS. I have worked in various areas of healthcare all of my working career, starting as a nursing assistant in assisted living and the hospital, neurodiagnostic technology, lab management/development, patient resource/fundraising, program director/instructor for an Neurodiagnostic Associates program, remote monitoring technologist, and clinical educator. I have a passion for teaching and helping others. I strive to help patients, give them the information that they need and help guide them to getting the answers they are looking for. I started teaching EEG and other neurodiagnostic procedures because I feel that with shared knowledge, we can reach even more people. I have taught informally and formally for the majority of my career and have enjoyed every moment.
I am married, and have 1 daughter, 3 stepchildren, and 3 step-grandchildren. I love animals, and live on a farm with a dog, cats, cows, and horses. In my free time, I try to keep learning new things and traveling.
